Meet Mark Wells, DNP, NP-C, FNP, RN-BC
Mark A. Wells, DNP, NP-C has extensive clinical and administrative experience in the private practice setting dating back to 2004. Dr. Wells earned his Bachelors Degree in Nursing in 2004 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh; and a Masters Degree in Nursing Practice from Wheeling University. After receiving these initial degrees, Dr. Wells went on to obtain his Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice at Walden University. He continues to further his education and is currently completing his Masters in Business Administration.
Dr. Wells serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Pittsburgh in the School of Anesthesia and has served in this role since 2008. He is also a contributing faculty member at Walden University in the School of Nursing since October 2017. He teaches courses at all levels of education, however his primary focus is at the Masters and Doctorate level with an emphasis on organizational leadership and clinical practice.
Dr. Wells maintains his board certifications and professional licensure in family practice, pain management. He is an active member of the Pennsylvania Pain Society and the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and serves as an executive board member.
